Baruch and Bracha Maoz, are Jewish friends who live in Israel and visited us here in Maryland last year when Baruch preached at our church. Baruch has pastored a Reformed Baptist church in Israel, which he founded, for the last forty years. In January, 2009 he will resign from the church to dedicate himself full-time to his writing ministry.

When he retires his salary will be reduced dramatically. Since we believe in Baruch and Bracha and fully endorse their ministry, we have asked their permission to place them on our web site so that WORLDMISSION and First Baptist, Marydel can stand alongside them as they begin this exciting period of their life. We wish to give them exposure on our web site so that by doing so we can help them raise the needed financial support for their very crucial ministry in Israel. Also we will be helping them secure speaking engagements when they come to the states to do deputation work. His new ministry will be called Soli Deo Gloria (Latin for: To God Only Be The Glory).

Baruch’s new ministry will focus on writing and teaching, seeking to influence the church in Israel toward the Faith of the Reformation. His book Judaism is Not Jewish has sold out. He has written already with a hefty revision the second edition, under a different title, Come Let Us Reason Together is being printed by Audubon Press now. Other books are: Jonah, Judges ,Joel, Amos and Micah, plus Modern Hebrew Translation of the Bible For Children.
